Infinix note 50 full review
Whenever we unbox a phone, we only share what the company officially claims about the device. But in our review videos, we test those claims and share our honest feedback based on real usage.
Infinix Note 50 Price in Pakistan:
This device is launched in Pakistan with a price tag of PKR 65,000. Previous Note series models usually ranged from PKR 35,000 to 40,000, so this is a significant price jump — and naturally, people are comparing it to the older Note series models.

Main Highlights of Infinix Note 50:
Build Quality:
The phone has a metal frame design, and many reviewers have mistakenly called the back plastic. However, after testing it with a metal object, it’s clear that most of the back is glass, though the area around the camera module seems to be plastic. It’s odd because this part is more prone to scratches.Included Case & MagCharge:
The phone comes with a protective case, which not only protects the lenses but also supports Infinix's MagCharge tech. However, on this non-Pro variant, the MagCharge sticks out a little from the body, unlike the Pro version where it’s more flush. While the feature works fine, it would be better if future models made it more seamless.
Display:
This phone features a 144Hz AMOLED display. Some people had previously claimed that the MediaTek G100 or G99 processors don’t support 144Hz, accusing Infinix of false advertising. But after testing with the built-in FPS meter and the DRM Info app, it confirms that the display does support 144Hz.That said, in practical terms, this high refresh rate is rarely utilized by games, since the processor isn’t powerful enough to run most games at 144Hz. It’s a similar case to how PlayStation 5 boxes mention 120FPS but not all games can achieve that. The display itself is bright and of good quality. It also features an in-display fingerprint scanner, which is slightly slower than competing devices. However, since Face ID is quite fast on this phone, most users won’t notice the slower fingerprint scanner.
Widevine L1 Support:
The phone fully supports Widevine L1 certification, meaning you can stream Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. in full HD without any issue.
Performance:
Benchmarks & Stress Test:During our stress test, the phone maintained 100% performance for the first 2 minutes — which is unusual, as most phones start throttling earlier. After that, performance dropped to around 70% at times but recovered back to 80-90%, which is quite good for a MediaTek G100 chipset. The metal body helps dissipate heat better, keeping the processor cool but making the phone body warm during heavy usage.
AI Features:
The Infinix Note 50 offers impressive AI features, typically found in flagship phones or paid software versions. The integration of Deep Seek R1 AI is one of its standout additions — available right out of the box even in the non-Pro version.
Bloatware:
One downside is the presence of bloatware apps like Hi Translate, which could have been avoided in 2025. The good thing is most of these can be uninstalled, but it would be better if they weren't pre-installed in the first place.
---
NFC Support:
The phone has proper NFC support and works smoothly with Google Wallet in the Pakistani market.

The one feature missing here is eSIM support. In today’s modern phones, eSIM functionality is becoming a standard, especially for travelers. It would’ve been great if Infinix had included it here.
Calling & Speaker Quality:
The Infinix Note 50 uses dual JBL speakers, and the earpiece doubles as the main speaker. This speaker is loud and clear — even if someone speaks softly during a call, you’ll have no trouble hearing them. Audio quality is very impressive for this price segment.
Final Thoughts:
The Infinix Note 50 introduces many high-end features in a mid-range phone — 144Hz AMOLED, metal body, AI features, NFC, and dual JBL speakers. However, the absence of eSIM, some bloatware, and limited practical use of 144Hz refresh rate in gaming are a few drawbacks. Still, for its price, it stands out well in its category.
