Infinix Note 50 Pubg Test | 144Hz Gaming Review - FPS Test , Heating & Battery Test πŸ”₯

The device comes with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS storage, along with an aluminum frame. Now let’s see if the device heats up during gaming. I’ll quickly start a game and check what graphics options we get here.

Inside the game, we also get a dedicated game mode with three different performance profiles — a power-saving mode, an AI-optimized mode, and a performance mode. Additionally, it includes features like a screen recorder, a memory cleaner to free up RAM, brightness control, image stabilization, and a charging bypass option. The bypass ensures your device doesn’t heat up while charging during gameplay because the phone directly runs on the charger’s power without charging the battery.

There’s also an Off-Screen Gaming feature which keeps background downloads running while you’re in-game — very handy. You can hide notifications, use a voice changer, and even customize lighting effects on the back panel, which lights up during gaming and can be turned on or off.

Another feature inside the game mode is graphics enhancement for different situations. There’s a setting where you can use your volume buttons as additional triggers for better control while gaming. It’s quite feature-packed.

Now, let’s head into the game settings and see what graphics options are available. The phone supports Smooth + Ultra, which means you get up to 40 FPS gameplay. In Balanced and HD settings, it also supports high frame rates.

I also tested its connectivity during gaming to check for any lag or frame drops. The device remained quite stable overall, and what impressed me the most was its JBL-powered stereo speakers, which gave proper left-right channel audio. The display is excellent too, with a high touch sampling rate, providing a responsive and enjoyable gaming experience.

At 40 FPS, the gameplay felt stable. I played for a while to see how the phone handled heating, and even during intense sessions, it stayed within reasonable temperature limits. The 5200mAh battery is also a big plus for extended gaming sessions.PUBG phone πŸ“± While gaming, I experienced no input lag, no touch freeze issues — which Infinix phones were previously known for. The brand has clearly improved a lot in this aspect.gaming review

Infinix note

During heavy fights and intense situations like rush landings or crowded areas in the game, the device did drop a few frames momentarily but quickly stabilized. Even in classic matches and events with heavy action, the performance was consistent. The zero-delay (gyroscope) support also worked properly, without any noticeable lag.At one point, during a massive rush of enemies, the FPS did dip slightly, but the device quickly maintained its stability at 40 FPS. The touch response and bullet connectivity were solid, and even with long continuous gaming, the device didn’t overheat excessively. The aluminum frame did get slightly warm, but the back panel stayed comfortable.

Conclusion:

If you’re looking for a phone for 40 FPS gaming, this is a solid option. You won’t get competitive-level 60 FPS gaming consistently, but for casual or mid-tier gaming, it’s well-optimized. The 144Hz immersive display with a high touch sampling rate makes the experience even better. You can easily game for up to 5 hours, thanks to the large battery.

Overall, Infinix has made noticeable improvements over its previous models. There were no major issues with heating or performance drops during my test. Definitely worth considering if your budget is around this range.
